7 Questions to Ask Your Kids Every Week

David Rausch
Creator of GO! Academy and GO! Curriculum

In the homeschool life, it’s easy to focus on assignments and forget to connect. But spiritual formation doesn’t just happen through curriculum — it grows through conversation.

Here are 7 intentional questions to ask your kids this week:

  1. What’s something God taught you today?
  2. Where did you see God at work?
  3. What was hard today, and how did you handle it?
  4. Is there someone we should pray for?
  5. What’s something you’re thankful for?
  6. What’s a mistake you made—and what did you learn?
  7. How can you show Jesus’ love this week?

These simple prompts can turn snack time or a car ride into sacred ground. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s presence.

How GO! Academy Can Help?
Each GO! Academy lesson includes Table Talk Cards that help you connect with your kids in meaningful ways. We make it easy to move beyond the textbook and into the heart with questions that spark spiritual growth.
